  • PA / APRN

    Description

    We are seeking a Full Time Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our busy and expanding outpatient surgical specialty practice in Southwest Florida! Candidate will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clinical patients.

    Duties

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform clinical evaluation of new and established patients to ensure patient’s care.
    • Conduct independent study of the field of phlebology to follow Physician’s instructions.
    • Analyze non-invasive studies regarding appropriate therapy based on clinical presentation and study results to determine decision making.
    • Perform initiation of wound care and placement of Unna boots.
    • Maintain effective communication with staff regarding referrals and timely completion of medical records including letters to referring physicians and insurance companies in order to assist with patient treatments.
    • Perform (or willing to train) injection Sclerotherapy and Veingogh responsibility to help patients with their treatments.
    • Provide assistance as needed by direction of physician.

    Qualifications:

    • A graduate of an accredited nursing program or physician assistant program.
    • Currently licensed as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
    • Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields.
    • Minimum of two years experience in field.
    • Demonstrate the ability to assess the full scope of patient needs.
    • Ability to build rapport with patients.
    • Conduct courteous and professional manner.
    • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

  • Medical Scribe

    Description

    Multiple Provider Outpatient Vein Center is seeking a Medical Scribe for our Ft Myers office to become a part of our team! The assistant will work alongside our physician and document details of each visit on the computer as dictated by the physician. The Scribe will also be responsible for faxing office notes, referrals, care plans, prescriptions, and patient messages for the provider. The assistant must be a fast typist, careful listener, attentive to detail and familiarity with EMR systems is essential. The Medical Scribe will perform Medical Assistant duties when physician is in surgery and not in need of the Scribe. Candidate will perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff & multiple Providers in growing multi-location practice. Candidate must exhibit ability to multi-task in a fast-paced medical practice while demonstrating proficiency and accuracy. Excellent Medical Insurance, 401k and benefits offered.

  • Registered Vascular Sonographer

    Description

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our IAC accredited Vein Center and Vascular laboratory team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in vascular ultrasound imaging with experience and interest in the venous system (insufficiency, DVT and iliac vein imaging) and possess a strong understanding of vascular anatomy and physiology and enjoy working in an inclusive TEAM environment.

    Duties

    • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations to evaluate out-patients for venous insufficiency, deep vein thrombosis, post ablation ultrasound examinations and iliac venous duplex.
    • Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently to obtain high-quality images.
    • Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to provide accurate diagnostic information to physicians. – Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals assist in coordination of patient care and ensure accurate diagnosis for proper treatment decisions.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment and equipment.
    • Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and advancements in vascular ultrasound technology and participate in ongoing education and training within the field of phlebology and venous diagnostic testing.
