Multiple Provider Outpatient Vein Center is seeking a Surgical Tech/Medical Assistant for our Ft Myers/Bonita Springs offices to become a part of our team! Candidate must exhibit ability to multi-task in a fast paced medical practice while demonstrating proficiency and accuracy in aseptic technique. Medical Insurance and excellent benefits offered.

Responsibility:

• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff & multiple Providers in growing multi-location practice.
• Administer vitals, update patient medication lists and room patients.
• Ability to use aseptic technique.
• Ability to make patient calls to address patient’s needs and clinical questions
• Ability to utilize & navigate EMR to make appointments and MA clinical charting.
• Desire and ability to learn Medical Scribe responsibilities. Formal medical scribing training will be provided in the future as part of the role.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
• Experience with EMR
• Medical terminology
• Operating room experience preferred

We are seeking a Full-time Patient Support Representative team member for our Ft Myers/Bonita Springs Medical Office! Candidate will accommodate patients from check-in and check-out to ensure excellent customer service. Excellent Health Insurance, 401K and benefits offered.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check patients in upon arrival and obtain insurance information.
• Provide patients with intake and new patient forms and input into EMR.
• Schedule multiple appointment types and in-office procedures in EMR.
• Knowledge of Insurance co-pays, out-of-pocket and deductibles necessary.
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Answering incoming patient appointment calls.
• Retail sales of medical products to patients upon check out.
• Ability to respond to patient needs and requests.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Previous experience in customer service, front desk service, medical practice or other related fields
• Excellent oral communication and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with EMR.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to handle a multi provider practice and prioritize tasks.

Pay: $35.00 – $37.50 per hour

Thriving Vein Center seeking a part-time RN with an energetic, enthusiastic, positive, self-driven “Can-do” personality who wants to be part of something greater than themselves. RN needed 2-3 full days per month or every other month for in-office IVUS procedures.

Responsibilities of RN:

• Administration of medications and maintenance of moderate or conscious sedation in the presence, and by the order, of a physician.
• PACU or ICU experience required.
• Comfortable administering medications and monitoring post surgical patients.
• Demonstrate the acquired knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, cardiac arrhythmia recognition and complications related to sedation and analgesia sedation and medications.
• Assess the total patient care requirements before, during, and post administration of sedation/analgesia.
• Understand the principles of oxygen delivery, transport and uptake, respiratory physiology, as well as understand and use oxygen delivery devices.
• Recognize potential complications of sedation and analgesia sedation for each type of agent being administered.
• Possess the competency to assess, diagnose, and intervene in the event of complications and institute appropriate interventions in compliance with orders or institutional protocols.
• Continuously observe and document patient vitals and responses throughout the case and/or post operatively.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred IV Conscious sedation course training but not necessary.
• ACLS / BLS certified
• Critical Care experience / Post recovery experience / ICU, PACU or Emergency Room experience.

Skills and Abilities:

• Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving and decision making.
• Knowledge of professional medical/surgical theory and practice to assess, plans, implement and evaluate patient care, pre and post surgery.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards & precautions to establish a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
