Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy, you will receive an appointment reminder call from Vein Specialists 48 hours prior to your appointment. Please check your appointment date and time, and if you are unable to keep your appointment, promptly notify the office at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid a cancellation or rescheduling fee. Elective cancellation of sclerotherapy, diagnostic ultrasounds, or operative procedures such as endovenous closure or microphlebectomy must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Missed treatment appointments without adequate cancellation cause unnecessary delays the treatment of other patients and will incur a rescheduling fee. However, we do understand that true emergencies and unexpected illnesses may occur, and patients will not be penalized in these circumstances. We reserve the right to request documentation and we strictly adhere to enforcement of our cancellation policy. Please refer to the section on cancellation fees located in the financial and insurance agreement of your new patient paperwork for more details. We politely request all accounts be kept current, and we reserve the right to cancel treatment for unpaid account balances.
