Cristin "Cris" Blackman
Medical Billing / Accounts ReceivableCris joined Vein Specialists in 2009. She is an integral part in the accurate and efficient management of Vein Specialists accounts receivables. Blackman brings with her fifteen years of experience in medical billing and collections to Vein Specialists. She is the prior owner of her own medical billing and consulting company, which specialized in the resolution and settling of existing accounts receivable. Her attention to detail ensures that the correct and clean submission of patient claims occurs on the front end, and that processing of patient statements and accurate posting of insurance monies occurs consistently. She is also responsible for verification of patient benefits, and for establishing and maintaining Vein Specialists’ insurance credentialing. She is also well versed in HIPAA compliance and has consulted for many physicians and staff members in her tenure as a consultant. Chris holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the University of Massachusetts.
