Carolina Orrego

Office Assistant / Customer Service Relations

Carolina joined Vein Specialists in 2007 and her primary responsibilities include initial patient contact and coordination of patient visits as well as inputting of patient information into the electronic medical record. Her bilingual skills enable her to clearly communicate with English speaking as well as Spanish speaking patients. She is responsible for scheduling and re-arranging appointments for new and existing patients, making reminder calls, setting appointments for doctor referrals as well as handling the referrals generated from the Vein Specialists website patient portal. Carolina’s ability to multi-task also assists her in many of the routine office operations, from preparing medical records requests and the next day’s charts, to manning the phones.

Carolina asserts that her prior experience as a receptionist helped her enhance her communication and customer service skills tremendously. She has additionally worked as a payroll clerk in a busy accounting firm, which sharpened her ability to multitask and keep up with a fast paced office environment. Carolina is currently attending Edison College in pursuit of a Business Administration degree.
